The
World's Most Advanced Laser
Processing Service
Offered Exclusively by Norman Noble, Inc.
|
| Norman
Noble, Inc. continues to raise the bar on Medical Device
Manufacturing Technology by taking micromachining
to an entirely new level with the development of the Millennium
Focus laser tubular cutting systems. Our Laser R&D Engineers
developed this unique system by integrating years of advanced laser
cutting knowledge with customized Laser machining components to
create a new laser cutting system with manufacturing capabilities
that are second to none.
These Laser R&D systems operate at higher frequencies and
shorter pulse lengths than typical lasers, resulting in much
narrower kerf widths with very minimal HAZ. The combination
of narrower kerfs and the ability to maintain feed rates at a
constant
velocity throughout the entire geometry are trademarks of this
incredible system.
The
result of the technology utilized in the Millennium Focus delivers
throughputs
of three to four times that of ordinary
systems, with standard accuracies of +/-.0002” through
an entire production run.

Doing What Others Attempt to Do, Only Better
|
| |
|
|
| The
Medical Device Industry requires very diverse microscopic manufacturing
capabilities to support the vast array
of complicated components that continue to persevere in the advancement
of modern medicine. Many of these complex components are designed
with tortuous geometries that far exceed the capabilities of standard
Laser systems. Combining years of expertise with the Millennium
Focus Laser, Norman Noble, Inc. manufactures these medical device
components at an incomprehensible level of speed and precision.
The Millennium Focus Laser is more efficient, more consistent
and more reliable than any other ND:YAG Laser system on Earth. |
|
Many
microscopic tubular components are so complex that the average
laser controls
would get saturated with the mathematical
calculations required to produce the geometry, therefore slowing
down the system to a much less than desirable feed rate. The Millennium
Focus Laser is designed for manufacturing such components and
in doing so, maintains a constant velocity feed rate through the
entire geometry from interpolated diameters as small as .001” to
the smallest contoured radii of .0003”. Some of the more
important benefits of constant velocity feed rates are less HAZ
in the corners and more consistent dimensional results from piece
to piece, in a fraction of the time that other Laser Systems are
capable of.

Our Next
Generation Laser System:
The On-going Pursuit of Excellence
|
|
| In
the Medical Device Manufacturing Field, the limiting factors
in machining
capabilities are creativity and the capability
of your equipment. Norman Noble, Inc. has nearly (40) Millennium
Focus Lasers in service today with capabilities exceeding any
other ND:YAG laser system available anywhere, but our creative
manufacturing methods and our drive for excellence doesn’t
stop there. With our eighth generation laser system under our belt,
the Millennium Focus, Norman Noble, Inc. is devoted to continuing
our laser machining dominance in the Medical Device Industry. |
|
Our
quest for continued excellence is evident by the development
of our next generation laser system, the Millennium
Focus II. The Millennium Focus II laser cutting system is a dedicated
tubular cutting machine that utilizes state-of-the-art Laser technology
for maximum uptime with minimal maintenance. This new technology
has proven to be even more efficient than the Millennium Focus,
yet continues to provide the unparalleled speed and precision
that our customers have become accustomed to. No other Contract
Manufacturer devotes as much effort to develop and maintain a laser
machining arsenal full of the latest state-of-the-art capabilities
than Norman Noble, Inc. |
